The all-new 2014 MINI will today be revealed from the huge MINI factory in Oxford. The big reveal happens at 3pm and MSN Cars will be reporting from the event LIVE…
…But the firm has already given us a couple of teasers that reveal some of the new car and give us an idea of what we can look forward to. They suggest evolution not revolution for the looks but suggest never-before-seen technology and gadgetry for the new MINI.

Every performance car, MPV and large saloon on sale today is under threat from proposed legislation limiting CO2 emissions to an average of 120g/km by 2012, CAR Online has learned. EU environment commissioner Stavros Dimas is expected to announce the shock new directive in the next few days - it's designed to force companies to meet tough targets or face big fines. CAR Online has uncovered details of the proposals before they are published.
The diminutive 2013 Scion iQ EV battery-electric vehicle will join car-sharing programs in the United States. The automaker says that details on which car-sharing programs the iQ will join will be announced in the coming weeks. The iQ EV sports a 12-kilowatt-hour battery, which provides an estimated range of 50 miles on a full charge.
